Tonka 1962 Cement Truck

Tonka introduced their Cement Truck in 1960 and it stuck around until near the end…in one form or another. And why not?
This was a truck that actually did more than just move…it worked!

The drum is connected to a front axle gear and as it rolls, the drum turns…just like the real thing. The drum can be raised to spread the cement via the adjustable chute.

Everything on this toy is original and the mechanism works as it should. There is a crack in the drum that I sealed from the inside.
