Description
Buddy L dropped their International trucks in 1957 and signed a deal with GMC to produce trucks based on the GMC 550 series.
They made a lot of these trucks in various styles and they continue to be extremely collectible.
The grille is chrome plated plastic and is often broken and worn…not so in this case.
The entire toy is pressed steel and the wheels are plastic.
The Texaco name is emblazoned across either side of the tank making this toy popular with collectors of Texaco memorabilia.
The trailer is permanently attached to the cab. There was never a windshield in these models.
The toy is in excellent condition with some minor paint loss.
