Description
Buddy L had been making pressed steel trucks since the 20s. When steel became scarce during WWII, they turned to wood.
Henry Katz, then head of the company, found a plant in New York suitable for making wooden toys.
Buddy L continued to make these wooden trucks until 1949.
It is very difficult to find one of these trucks with all of the parts intact…especially, the fifth wheel.
All of the decals are intact and the toy is in overall outstanding condition.

Please note that my photos are up close and detailed. I attempt to provide an accurate representation of the toy as it truly is. If you would like a particular photo of any aspect, do not hesitate to ask.
