Description
The Charles William Doepke Company, Inc. of Rossmoyne, Ohio was authorized by American LaFrance to produce a replica of their 700 Series Pumper in 1952.
Doepke produced this pumper through 1956 and it remains one of the finest examples of toys produced during the golden age of post WWII toy production.
It is very difficult to find one of these toys with all of the original parts and this is no exception. In fact, I am including two original hoses. Be aware that they are old and somewhat brittle.
The paint work shows some loss. It is missing the bell which would have been mounted on the right front fender.
The tires are stamped Firestone and the steering linkage works like new.
