Description
This toy has been repainted.
The Charles WM. Doepke MFG.Co. Inc., Rossmoyne, Ohio made the best American construction toys between 1946 and 1959, using “real” equipment as their inspiration.
The Euclid Company of Ohio specialized in off-road heavy haulers and were eventually bought out by GM in 1953. Euclid earth movers were a huge part of the development of the US in the first half of the 20th century. Their badge was “Pioneer Pete” and can be seen on either side of the trailer.
Unlike Doepke’s other large construction toys, this trailer does unhitch from the tractor.
This is a very big toy. Built to 1:16 scale, it weighs 8.5 lbs and measures 27″ in length.
This version is the third, the last of which was produced in 1953. A must for any collector of construction equipment.
The lever to the side opens the bottom flaps to drop the load…works like new.
Please note that my photos are up close and detailed. I attempt to provide an accurate representation of the toy as it truly is. If you would like a particular photo of any aspect, do not hesitate to ask.

Just another Great purchase from Noel. I have purchased several items and each and every time I have been very pleased with quality of his items and the care he puts into packaging and shipping. I will continue to add to my toy collection with many more purchases from Trucks from the Past. What a Great web site and selection. Thank You, Gary Cooper
