Louis Marx was a genius when it came to designing and selling toys. So much so that he outsold all other toy manufacturers. But his toys also reflected their time.
Marx pioneered selling through large retailers and Sears Roebuck was one of the largest.
Climbing tractors had been around since the early decades but Marx made more than any…and in multiple styles.
The red tractor still works without help. The original tracks are complete.
The silver tractor works with help. Tracks are missing.
The yellow tractor does not work…tracks are present.
