Tonka 1955-1956 Aerial Sand Loader

Description

Produced for only two years – 1955 and 1956 – the Aerial Sand Loader was the most complex toy ever made by Tonka.

Originally deemed too costly to produce, this toy was introduced at the NY Toy Fair in 1955 and was available with or without a dump truck.

This is also the largest of Tonka toys.

All original, condition is superb.

Wheel on frame moves cab back and forth. Wheel on cab raises and lowers clam. Lever on cab opens and closes the clam.

This toy will be shipped with the cab removed from the frame. I will send a link to an assembly video if you wish.

It is very difficult to find this toy in this working condition.
