Description
Tonka introduced their Aerial Ladder truck in 1954. The decals showed M.F.D. which stood for Mound Fire Department…changed to T.F.D. in ’56.
The ladder is raised by means of the crank at the front and the crank to the side extends the ladder.
The lifting wheel has been slightly modified. You will need to hold the ladder while it is raised.
The tiller wheel is not original. The cover behind the ladder is missing.
The ladder does extend.
There is surface pitting throughout.
