Made for one year only, the bronze Platform Tandem Stake and Pup Trailer are much desired by collectors.
Tonka introduced their first lumber stake truck in 1955 as part of the Builders Fleet set. It was added stand alone in 1956 and a load of lumber was included through 1957.
The truck was offered in two colors in ’59…the yellow version is even harder to find…but only the bronze version came with the pup trailer. Lumber load have been added to this toy for effect and is include.
The toy is all original showing paint loss.
