Description
Tonka introduced their Cement Truck in 1960 and it stuck around until near the end…in one form or another. And why not?
This was a truck that actually did more than just move…it worked!
The drum is connected to a front axle gear and as it rolls, the drum turn…just like the real thing. The drum can be raised to spread the cement via the adjustable chute though I wouldn’t advise actually using it to mix cement…if you know what I mean!
Modelled after the Ford F Series, the 1960 Tonka version shown here has dual headlights which Ford introduced in 1958.
Everything on this toy is original and the mechanism works as it should.
The box is missing one flap but otherwise solid.
The truck is mint!
15.5″L x 6.5″W
