Description
Wally Hooker started to make truck replicas back in the 80’s and continued through the 90’s. They were sold under the name Cottonwood Acres. My understanding is that Wally is no longer with us.
While he made farm machinery as well, he is best remembered for his series of International trucks. I have read reports that towards the end, many were left with unfulfilled orders.
This International Grain Truck is #3 of 250. What makes this somewhat unique is the absence of door decals which were added to later models in the series.
The cab and chassis are cast aluminum.
While the quality is not on par with Fred Thompson Smith Millers or other contemporary replica truck makers, this is still a beautiful display piece. Looks great on the shelf!
There is a small amount of wear to the paint on the front bumper.
