Description
The Charles WM. Doepke MFG.Co. Inc., Rossmoyne, Ohio made some of the best American toys between 1946 and 1959.
Using real equipment as their inspiration, their Bulldozer, which was based on the Caterpillar D6, is one of their most collectible toys today. Most of their toys were made under license.
Considering the age of these toys it is difficult to find one in condition such as this. Everything is original except for the smokestack – which is not unusual.
There were three versions of the toy. This one is from 1953.
Missing one track, the toy works just as it would have 60 years ago. The lever has three blade positions.
