Description
St. Louis toy maker Metalcraft introduced a line of small pressed steel toys in 1931 and one of the most popular was the Heinz 57 truck.
The grille is removable for placement of a battery. Functionality has not been tested.
Some trucks bore the NRA (National Recovery Administration) decal on the roof.
This toy has been beautifully restored.
