Description
Advertised as a “Factual Scale Model of a Popular 1949 Dump Truck”, Tonka introduced their first dump truck in 1949. And the rest as they say, is history!
The truck was based on a GMC cabover design and ran through 1953. Tonka switched to the round fender Ford design in 1954.
A couple of things to note…bed lever is a replacement…there is a screw where one of the tabs underneath failed.
Paint loss…mostly to the bed.
