Stunning!
Tonka made custom trucks for a number of companies, one of which was Marshall Field in Chicago.
Starting with the COE design in the early fifties, the also produced a round fender version. This one is from 1955.
These trucks are extremely hard to find in original condition…particularly as good as this version.
Note that the color of the round fender was darker than the COE models.
There is some paint loss to the fifth wheel area and you will see a few dings on the roof.
All in all…this is the finest example of this hard to find truck that I have seen in many years.
